Introducing the new Tech Talk – By The Numbers technical analysis by Mr. Vialoux. The intent of this report is to detail technically significant events for individual stocks listed in the S&P 500 and TSE 60 following each day of trading. Whether it be support or resistant levels that have been broken, MACD showing crossover signals, or RSI revealing overbought and oversold levels, we will filter through the universe of stocks to present to you a summary of a handful of investments that are revealing the signals that you are looking for.
In addition to the investments that are highlighted, the entire universe of stocks will be made available for download at the end of each report such that you may filter through the data to analyze and research individual stocks for tomorrow’s trades.
Tech Talk – By The Numbers is a supplement to current offerings from TimingTheMarket.ca and will be offered by Mr. Vialoux following each trading day.
Today’s report highlights stocks that have broke the upper-most resistance level (Resistance 2) as of previous day’s trading.

Hi Shawn,
The data is a result of a program designed exclusively for Tech Talk that calculates, analyzes and reports technically important events. The market data (which includes open, close, high, and low prices, as well as daily volume) is obtained from whatever source is available at the time of publishing, usually Yahoo Finance or Google Finance.
Presently I am unaware of any other source that provides this analysis for every listed S&P 500 and TSE 60 stock in a format that allows you to filter through to report a handful of the most technically significant events that occurred throughtout the trading day. The entire list of stocks will be made available daily via the Download link at the bottom for your own purposes, and will hightlight much more information than what we are able to report here.
To answer Dave’s question as well, I am still working on the reporting end to answer the “why” of all of these technical events. Stay tuned!

Thank you

Amazing stuff. What is your source for this data? (Bloomberg?)
Thanks,

I didn’t mean “More in depth” as a question. I meant it as a compliment. Carry on, soldier.

Btw, Jon, would love to see this data for brokerage stks. Think that that would be very timely.
