Technical comment: JPMorgan currently has a positive intermediate technical profile. Intermediate trend is up. The stock trades above its 50 and 200 day moving averages. Strength relative to the S&P 500 Index has been positive since March. This morning the stock broke above resistance at $46.44. Support is at $40.53. Short term momentum indicators are overbought, but continue to trend higher. Next upside intermediate technical target is $53.20.

Technical comment: Harley Davidson currently has a positive intermediate technical profile. Intermediate trend is up. The stock trades above its 50 and 200 day moving averages. Strength relative to the S&P 500 Index has been positive since March. The stock broke above resistance at $25.45 this morning. Support is at $20.76. Short term momentum indicators are overbought, but continue to trend higher. Next upside intermediate technical target is $31.20.

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) – $21.05

News event: Higher than expected third quarter earnings.

Technical comment: Intel currently has a positive intermediate technical profile. Intermediate trend is up. The stock trades above its 50 and 200 day moving averages. Strength relative to the S&P 500 Index has been positive since May. The stock broke above resistance at $20.65 this morning. Support is indicated at $18.89. Favourable influences from October 9th to January 17th turned positive this year on October 6th. Next upside intermediate technical target is $22.50.
