Another selloff day in the markets, but the Dow managed to record an uptick.   Of the 672 stocks analyzed on the S&P 500 and TSE, 205 advanced, 456 declined and 11 didn’t record a change.

These last two days have totally “screwed-up” the number of stocks that continue to trend above their 50-day moving average.   Currently just over half, at 59%, are above this important level.   That is down from the strong 80% we have been witnessing for the past couple of weeks.   Still, we continue to witness strong levels whereby almost 92% of stocks currently reside above their 200-day moving average mark.   The number of stocks listed as Oversold, according to RSI and stochastics is, needless to say, rising.

Today’s Report highlights all of the stocks that made a Bullish Moving Average Crossover with respect to MACD.
