And finally the bleeding stops.   Of the 672 stocks analyzed on the S&P 500 and TSE, 424 advanced, 235 declined and the remaining 13 never quite got over Saturday’s trick-or-treat.

The up days are never kind to the bulls.   Another day of minor gains, averaging only 0.3% across all stocks, yet trading volumes are considerably lower than the previous day’s massacre, with activity down 7.16%.   Almost 60% of stocks are currently below their 50-day moving average, with 51% listed as Oversold according to stochastics and 42% are below their previous trend.

Call me an optimist though, I think this is an ideal time to snatch up some bargain stocks that have been hammered down over the last few days.   The only problem is that both the S&P 500 and S&P TSE Composite indices have not indicated a clear bottom.   More data is needed.

Today’s report highlights all of the stocks that have indicated a Bullish Centerline Crossover with respect to RSI, a Bullish Crossover with respect to Stochastics, AND are NOT indicating a decreasing MACD.
