Pre-opening Comments for Thursday October 7th

U.S. equity index futures were higher this morning. At 7:45 AM EDT,S&P 500 futures were up 41 points.

Levi Straus added $0.90 to $25.14 after the company reported higher than consensus third quarter revenues and earnings. The company also offered positive guidance.

General Motors gained $0.25 to $54.18 after the company predicted that annual sales would double to $280 billion by 2030.

Twitter advanced $1.21 to $62.50 after the company announced its sale of MoPub for $1.05 billion.
